This is the 1st batch of a single malt with a release of 1,150 bottles, matured in Bourbon, PX finish casks.
The James Sedgwick Distillery was established in 1886 and continues to set the bar for South African whiskies and innovation in the whisky industry.
I have to say, honestly, that I was looking forward to open this one for I had heard a lot of love about this single malt. And I was glad that I could enjoy this little wee gift, finally. This whisky was a true delight for the taste-buds. Too bad there is a limited in the release of this whisky. So when you have a chance to have a try this whisky at any whisky festival or event, go for it!
