The Glenlivet Cipher & Friends

TheGlenlivetCipherThe Glenlivet has unveiled a mysterious single malt, The Glenlivet Cipher. This single malt has no cask information or tasting notes. This is going to be a challenge.

Presented in a fantastic black box, Cipher came along with The Glenlivet Founder’s reserve, the 12 yr old and the 15 yr old. Just like the big brother bottle, the small Cipher has also the great opaque black look and just look at the black whiskyglass.

“Did you know that your nose could pick up 35.000 different smells and aroma’s?”

“But don’t worry, you only need to choose six”
(Alan Winchester)

I’ve looked up Cipher, this is a way of changing a message to keep it secret. Let’s see if I can reveil this secret, with the other tasters. The great thing is, that this event is also a bit interactive with a lot of clues, on the bottle and online.

When you are curious and would like to know more about this mysterious whisky, just go here for The Glenlivet Cipher experience, which Alan Winchester will unveil and do the test. Curious, how this went with me and the others? You can have a peek on twitter #theglenlivetcipher
