We all know that the That Boutique-y Whisky Company has a reputation to bottle the most wonderful whiskies with amazing labels looking like comics.
This was my first Harrow Whisky Festival visit and this venue is a wonderful place for such an event. The surroundings are breathtaking and looking back, I wish I had planned for more time around the event.
Nevertheless, I arrived about 20 minutes early to the start of the event and I had the opportunity to chat to some of the locals who were at the start of their adventure into the whisky world. Events like this around the country are providing a wonderful opportunity for many individuals to divulge into whiskies that they would never have thought about even trying.
A tasting, with some special whiskies from That Boutiquey Whisky Company. With a selected group of whisky friends, we had the opportunity to try a selection of whisky from their new advent calendar. This evening was a complete adventure with a lot of new whiskies and taste experiences. Every whisky was a surprise, each with their own character. One whisky was more lovable than the other.
New whiskies, were nosed, taste and “dissected” by a couple of whisky enthusiasts. It was an amazing, thrilling and exciting evening. I think we all got at least one favourite of the range That Boutique-y Whisky Company has to offer.
I love birthdays, especially when there is whisky involved, next to cheesecake. The invitees, including me, were all looking forward to the evening of October 11 for there was a huge party online, given by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. They planned to celebrate their 5th birthday on this day, a milestone.
On this birthday bash, five special whiskies were all lined up to be nosed and tasted. All handpicked just for this occasion. Five amazing looking bottles, all with a matching card, finally opened to be enjoyed. What is a birthday without a good birthday dram?
