The first Whisky Colours Festival will be held from 10 to 14 October 2019. It is a celebration of all things whisky and is centred in Dufftown, the malt whisky capital of the world. The festival will allow you to get up close and personal with some of the biggest names in the whisky industry.
The Whisky Colours Festival is partnering with Cardhu, Glen Moray and Glenfarclas Distilleries for dining and tasting experiences; Morrison & MacKay for a unique autumnal tasting; as well as masterclasses from the likes of Adelphi and Berry Bros & Rudd.
Offering its first bottle for just $1, The Whisky Foundation Reserve is launching at 17.00 (GMT-5) today, with a Springbank 24-year-old exclusive single malt whisky, the price of which will rise based on market demand.
The financial markets in the US are closed for Thanksgiving, but The Whisky Foundation Reserve is open for business. Independently bottled Scottish whisky specialists, Whisky Foundation today launched their innovative stock market for whisky, and revealed the first bottle on sale as a Springbank 24-year-old single malt, matured in a sherry cask and bottled by The Maltman in 2017 at 47.1% ABV. Only 244 bottles are available, making these rare and collectable items, and are available for shipping worldwide.
