Let’s talk about Jack Daniels. I’ve had a glass of the liquid, a long, long time ago. And what I remember is that I didn’t liked it, not at all. It’s a mix whiskey, that is what I thought. Mix the whiskey with cola, or use it just for cocktails. So, the thing is … I received a sample somewhere in December. That triggered me to try to drink it again. Experience Jack again and perhaps my thoughts would change, it can’t hurt.
Jack Daniels, a whiskey that offers more than the bottle every one has seen in a bar or a club, like Honey and the Gentleman. But I will throw myself at the one whiskey, that everyone knows, Jack Daniels Old No 7 also known as the Black Label. Let’s admit, it’s a cheap whiskey, that’s why it’s very attractive to use it in any mix.
- Name: Jack Daniels, Old No.7

Jack Daniels is one of the familiar whiskies, in the world. I haven’t met anyone who hasn’t heard of this brand. But when I tell them about the brothers and sisters of the Well-known Jack Daniels, they look surprised. There is more? I have experience some, but more to write about those in a later stadium.
- Color: Amber gold
- Nose: Caramel, a bit of honey, strong scent of all kind herbs. Hints of burned wood, vanilla, coffee, fresh hot 99% chocolate covered with brown sugar and very sticky syrup
- Taste: Very strong and immense. A complexity of caramel, chocolate, warm syrup smokey leafs, chewable licorice, the complexity of dried herbs and nuts
- Finish: Medium and hard.
Suggestions: It was more drinkable for me, with a few drops of water. This made it softer on the tongue and behind ..
Grade: I give this whiskey a 7 out of 10
