After seeing someone talking on the world called Social Media about Yamazaki Whisky, I wondered if I had the tasting notes somewhere. And for being a creative person, the tastingnotes could be everywhere .
But found it!
- Name: Yamazaki
- Country: Japan
- Type: Single Malt
- Price per standard amount: € 55,-
The Yamakazi Distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery in Shimamoto and owned by Suntory. Fantastic to share is that the distillery was opened in the year 1923 and was the 1st Japanese whisky distillery.
Going to the tasting notes. It seemed I loved it very much! But first my thoughts for this summer whisky.
- Color: Sun gold
- Nose: Lovely raisins, cookies, brown sugar, fruity complexity, summerfeel vanilla, cinnamon and apple, fresh chopped wood and colored flowers
- Taste: Warm apple cake with sprinkled cinnamon and a layer of whipcream, fantastic mouth feel, Smooth, fruity, spicy and intence
- Finish: Medium, but lovely
Suggestions: Just pure, it’s perfect.
I give this whisky an 8,5 out of 10
