Glencadam 22 yr, The Rare Casks, Release 4

Let’s see if this whisky pleases  me! Abbey hasn’t disappointed me yet … I can’t wait to share my notes with you.

 

As always I love the sample bottles, the feel and the exterior of the complete image. Going a bit deeper in the information. 96 bottles are filled and it has a volume of 55.3%. Keywords: Rare Casks, 4th release, 1991, Highland, Scotland.

  • Color: Yellow fall leaf color
  • Nose: Vanilla, Toffee, Minty, Red Fruit, Hints of Citrus, soft and pepperish
  • Taste: Red Fruit, cherrie ice filled with chopped mint leafs, soft, whipcream, pepperish complexity of creamy volume with spices.
  • Finish: Lovely medium

I loved this whisky! My advice to you: If you get a hand on a bottle, buy it and enjoy every glass like it was your 1st.

– Disappointing? No!
– Pleasurable? Yes

Suggestions: Just one drop of water for moving the cherrie up the palate.
